Photographs from the series “Alfresco Theater” depict hidden courts and small squares in Mediterranean old towns and cities. I wanted to portray the theatrical nature and intimacy of these places. Late at night, when no one is around, such a place looks like a stage set with no actors, waiting for a performance to begin.
